Sidewalk Concrete Pumping
A new customer called for a sidewalk concrete pumping job in Orlando. The job required about 50 yards of cement so it was supposed to only last a couple of days. Everything was perfect: the weather, the pump brought to the site, the customer’s readiness to get the job done, except we encountered a very frequent, late concrete delivery.
Concrete companies in the greater Orlando area seem to be struggling to keep up with the demand for concrete delivery. We have been finding that for most of our jobs, they are up to 1-2 hours late. In this case, the impact was a 2-day sidewalk job turned into a 4-day one. That is not good for the budget or the schedule. So if you are planning any renovations for your home, office, or shop that requires concrete, make sure to call your concrete provider at least two to three days in advance and plan to contract your pumper for extra time.
In spite of the concrete delays, the sidewalk job was done perfectly and the customer was extremely satisfied. We used a Putzmeister TKB pump with a 200-feet system of 2” hose. It was sized well for the job so we encountered no accidents or blowouts. We focus mainly on customer service and satisfaction, striving every time to meet your demands with no hiccups.
