Grout pumping in beautiful apartment complex in Sanford, FL. We provided 250 feet of hose, and a hydraulic ball valve pump, since no aggregate was used on this job, therefore making the job a lot smoother to clean up, and no concrete waste.

Grout pumping, is it different than regular pumping?

Absolutely, when you pump simple grout or even pea gravel rock, the kind of pump used is a lot different. In grout pumping you normally would use a Hydraulic Ball Valve, which is a simple system that allows all the concrete to be pumped in the very bottom of the hopper through 2 openings that connect to the material cylinders, this makes it easier for washing out the machine and great for customers that want no concrete to be wasted. Also by using a regular hydraulic ball valve pump, you get the advantages of a nitrogen compensator, which partly eliminates the end-hose jerking, making it that much smoother to operate
